Terms & conditions

These terms apply to every order placed on babeau.store and every appointment booked with Babeau Handerz Sig, of 51 Alhaji Mudashiru Eletu Street, Lekki, Lagos. Placing an order or confirming a booking means you accept them.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you paid.

An order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we confirm dispatch, not when payment clears. Until then we may decline an order — if an item turns out to be out of stock, if a price was listed in error, or if we cannot deliver to the address given.

Where we decline, we refund in full and tell you why.

Prices are in Nigerian Naira and shown before tax. VAT at 7.5% and delivery are added in the order summary at checkout, so the total you approve is the total you pay.

We accept card and transfer through Paystack, manual bank transfer, and cash or transfer on delivery within Lagos. Orders paid by manual transfer are dispatched once the payment lands. Pay-on-delivery is not available outside Lagos.

Discount codes apply to product subtotals, cannot be combined, and can be withdrawn at any time before an order is placed.

We describe every product as accurately as we can, including size, usage notes and precautions. Photography is indicative; packaging is updated by manufacturers from time to time and may differ slightly from the image.

Our products are cosmetic. Nothing we sell or say is medical advice, and none of it is intended to diagnose or treat a condition. If you have a skin condition, are pregnant, or are taking a medication that affects your skin, speak to your doctor first.

Hard wax is heated, and heated wax burns. Read the usage notes on the listing, follow the temperature guidance, and patch test on your inner wrist before every session.

• Patch test any product with active ingredients 24 hours before full use.
• Do not use wax on broken, sunburnt, irritated or recently treated skin.
• Do not use acids or retinoids for 48 hours after waxing.
• Keep heaters and wax away from children.

Treatments are performed by qualified staff at the spa by appointment. You must tell us about allergies, pregnancy, medication and skin conditions before your treatment; we may decline or modify a treatment on safety grounds, and we will explain why.

We see one client at a time and run three appointments a day. Rescheduling is free up to twelve hours before your slot; inside twelve hours, or for a no-show, the charges set out in Delivery & returns apply. Treatment fees are payable at the spa.

Delivery times, exchange conditions and refund timelines are set out in full on the Delivery & returns page, which forms part of these terms. In short: sealed goods can be exchanged within seven days, opened skincare cannot, and anything damaged or wrong is replaced at our cost.

We are responsible for loss we cause by failing to meet these terms or by failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for loss of business or profit, or for damage caused by using a product against the guidance supplied with it.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.

Where we are liable, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

The Babeau name, logo, photography, product descriptions and site design belong to Babeau Handerz Sig. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without written permission. Resellers and salons buying at wholesale should contact us for brand usage terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction over any dispute. Before going to court, please raise the issue with us — most things are resolved in a message.
